got picked up instantly. ez to go to brno. wasn't very picky that day, but you can go directly to prague.

in theory this is the best you got in order to escape the north of Vienna (hell) workday morning was very tough, but I persevered and reached Prague in 6 hours even with horrible luck. please ask to take you to gas stations, direct rides to brno or prague are very unlikely.

Great spot to go to the South - very close to the highway towards Brno, visible and easy to stop.

It seems to be great for Czech and Austria, but actually there are a lot of cars going S1 not A1, highly recommended to make a sign with direction. I waited there almost two hours, but after that I was taken by truck driver going to Slovenia. We managed to get to Brno in his driving time limit.

To be honest, not really great spot. Hitch was not slow by any means, but gas station personal kicked me out, so I had to stand on the parking nearby. One tip to getting here from Brno. Get the train to Brno - Starý Lískovec, from there you must walk to Martina Ševčíka street and just before you cross under highway you need to climb up next to highway on the side of the gas station. The climb is kinda steep, but doable even with large backpack and dress shoes. You need to walk next to highway (BUT BEHIND THE RAILING, THERE IS QUITE A LOT OF SPACE), until you reach the gas station. Take care, stay safe.

Really good spot towards Brno direction. Got hitch almost immediately. Only thing is, getting here could take long time. But If you take bus to station Újezd u Průhonic, it is just short walk. (There is a bridge over highway)

arrived here at 5PM, waited until 9PM, slept in a tent behind the gas station. Some guy agreed to take us to Brno the next day. A lot of truck trafić, which we couldn't capitalize on since we're travelling as 2. A lot of locals in this gas station.

We asked for cardboard at the gas station to make Brno sign. When we exited the gas station we instantly got offered ride to Brno.

We waited at bus stop with Drietoma sign. From Drietoma we hitchhiked to Brno easly.

Nice place, great for Prague, you can get here by train from main station in Brno, the station is Stary Liskovec. There is a hole, you can go through and then you climb a small bank filled with trash and you are there

Great spot if you know what are you doing. I asked the first car i saw if he could give me a ride to the next gas station (only 5km). From there its very easy to go to Brno.

Amazing spot for going in direction of Brno. Easily got a ride in 15 minutes.

Bad spot for going in direction of Prague. Tried it for the first 40 minutes then changed the sign to Brno-Stary Liskovec (that helped a lot). Got a ride to a better spot:)

Travelling from Prague, got picked up with the Brno sign but the driver was going farther to Bratislava so i got down there.

came around 4pm on a monday with a sign for Brno, no one stopped

Best stop in both Brno and south direction, got ride in 15 mins
